Hello!

I'm Mrs. K in the Library, and I'm so glad that you stopped by! I'm currently heading into my 7th year as the Media Aide/Librarian at Fairfield Elementary. I have a degree in Elementary Education, but prior to my becoming a Media Specialist, I was a stay-at-home mom.

I'm married to my high school sweetheart and we have 3 children. Our daughter, Rylee, graduated from OSU this summer with a degree in Biology and will pursue her masters in Anesthesiology this January at ODU. Our oldest son, Harry, is working full time for Claypool Electric in their apprenticeship program and is planning a few hunting trips this year in Colorado and Canada. Our youngest son, Brady, is a Junior at PHSN and loves his engineering and multimedia classes and working at Cold Stone creamery in Pickerington. We also have 2 fur babies! Dudley, our very stubborn English Bulldog, will turn 9 in January, and our newest addition, Diesel, (a yellow lab) will turn 2 in February. Lastly, all three of our children once attended Fairfield Elementary, so it will always have a special place in my heart.

I am a strong believer in the importance of school libraries and reading to children. I constantly strive to be relevant in literature trends and try to provide a nurturing environment where students can come to pursue their own reading interests. I am so excited to work with your children and look forward to making this year the best year yet!
